During older times in India, Dhaba was recognized by its unique and simple structures to setup the arrangements for truck drivers. Charpai was used in Dhaba for sitting arrangements where wooden board was placed on the width of the charpai on which the dish was meant to be served. These cots made the customers homemade feel.
