Pahalwan Dhaba is known for its best paratha in murthal where it is one of most popular toast of flatbreads in India. Paratha is made up of baking wheat dough on tava. Paratha is stuffed with spicy potatoes that can be fried with desi ghee. It not simply eaten with butter but with chutney, dahi, pickles, and ketchups. To make a plain paratha, the layered dough without using potatoes is fried with simple ghee.

During older times in India, Dhaba was recognized by its unique and simple structures to setup the arrangements for truck drivers. Charpai was used in Dhaba for sitting arrangements where wooden board was placed on the width of the charpai on which the dish was meant to be served. These cots made the customers homemade feel. As time pass on, these cots was replaced by tables and chairs.
